If you love nature and are interested in viewing unique Mexican wildlife, this tour is for you, On this tour we will visit the Rio Lagarto Nature Reserve located on the Yucatan Peninsula, this place is characterized by its beautiful landscapes, flora and fauna such as the famous flamingos that come to this place to feed and nest, generating a unique spectacle painting the sky pink with their flight. Also you can see other endemic birds of the region such as herons, eagles, ospreys.

We’ll also stop by Las Coloradas, an area of the lagoon where salt has been extracted from the seawater for decades. This area is home to the second largest salt factory in the country. You’ll definitely want to have your camera ready since this area is known for its breathtakingly beautiful pink lagoon water. After exploring the Rio Lagartos, you’ll probably be hungry.
