What you'll see

08:30 am - You will be picked up from the passenger pier at Hambantota harbor by air-conditioned vehicle and then proceed to the starting point of village expedition.

09:45 am - Once arrived to the starting points, you will be welcomed by your tuk-tuk guide whom you will be guided.

Tour begins by exploring the bat nest area and then proceed to see most scenic lakes in the area. You will be able to enjoy a Tuk ride around the lake.

After visiting lakes, you will be moved to see clay pot making house where pots are made by villagers. There you can learn the intricate art of Sri Lankan pottery from expert artisans and make your own clay pot on a traditional wheel, as a special souvenir.

Afterwards, you will be taken to a village house to see the lifestyle of rural villagers. Witness the daily chores of the villagers; rice fields and vegetable gardens during your visit. You will also be able to taste a cup of Ceylon tea made by the village women.

On happy stomachs, you will say goodbye to your new friends in this rural village and head to the tour starting points.

12:00 pm - When finished the village exploration in Yala by tuk-tuk, you will be transferred back to the Hambantota harbor.

13:30 hrs - You will be dropped-off at the passenger pier in Hambantota harbor.
