What you'll see

08:30 am - You will be picked up from the passenger pier in Hambantota harbor and driven to Bundala National Park

09:30 - Start your game drive in Bundala National Park which is an important wintering ground for migratory water birds. Bundala harbors 197 species of birds, the highlight being the greater Flamingo, which migrate in Large Flocks. Every species of water bird found in the country can be sighted here. Migrants and vagrants make the journey from as far as Siberia; over 10,000 shorebirds might be feeding at any one time between October and March.

12:00 pm - Enjoy your Picnic lunch in a nice location at the National Park

13:30 hrs - Proceed with the second round of your safari to spot some more animals. Occasional Elephant, Spotted Deer, Sambar, Hanuman Langur, Toque Monkey, Stripe-necked and Ruddy Mongooses, Wild Boar, Golden Jackal, Land and Water Monitor and Marsh Crocodile can be seeing during your Safari.

16:30 hrs - Leave the national park and proceed back to the passenger pier in Hambantota harbor to proceed with your next adventure!
