Vlore is much more than astonishing beaches, sun, and sea. Narta Lagoon and Saltworks are known for their rich diversity of flora and fauna. Birdwatching will be our focus today with much to offer also on amazing natural landscapes.
The day will start at 6:30, as a real early bird. We will pick you up at your hotel and drive shortly to Narta Salinas where we will have short stops in different watching locations.
We will stop in the forest area (Pine Forest) and will identify terrestrial bird species.
Narta dunes are a wonderful location, completely untouched nature by humans. Optional information on Narta dunes, walking along the dunes.
We will observe birds of the coastal area such as Kentish Plover, and European Golden Plover.
Our day will continue by visiting Kallenga Lagoon. Depending on the time of year we will have the possibility to watch some characteristic species like Redshanks, Flamingo, Pelican, etc.
Another attraction of this tour is the historical bunkers of communist times, with protected landscape symbols.
This tour will end just about lunchtime and our guide will suggest you fish restaurants in the area.
