Our guide will take you to Jozani forest to show you the forest and the nearby mangroves.

Jozani forest is best known for its red Colobus monkeys, which roam freely through the forest. Besides this rare monkey, you will also get a chance to see other monkey species, all kinds of beautiful butterflies and a lot of different birds. After spotting the monkeys, your guides will show you the nearby Jozani mangroves, which are really important for the Zanzibar ecosystem.

Stop 2

During this trip you will take a boat from the shores of Stone Town and head to the beautiful Prison Island in about 30 minutes. The prison was built in 1893 and is currently owned by a hotel. Nowadays the island is most famous for its tortoise sanctuary. Also you will get a chance to snorkel in the deep blue water surrounding Prison Island or you can just relax and enjoy the breathtaking beaches.

Our guide will take you for a tour through Stone Town, Zanzibar.

The historical city centre of Zanzibar, called Stone Town, is definitely worth a visit. The town was constructed of coral stone in the 19th and 20th century and contains a mixture of Arabic, African and Indian cultures. During this tour, your guide will take you through the narrow streets of Stone Town to visit the old slave market, the Darajani market place, the Old Fort, the Sultan’s place and many more places.

Our guide will take you to one of the spice farms on Zanzibar to see how they are cultivated and to taste them for yourself.

Zanzibar is known for the spices that grow on the island and its nickname is Spice Island. During the tour you will visit a spice plantation and you will be smelling and tasting different spices, herbs and tropical fruits. Also you can see how the spices are used in traditional Tanzanian recipes. At the end of the tour you will get a taste of the Zanzibar spices when served in a traditional lunch.

During this trip you will be taken in a tradition Dhow sailboat to visit a sandbank, the best snorkeling places, Menai Bay and the beautiful coral reefs of the area. It will be a day full of relaxation and enjoying the clear blue waters of the Indian Ocean. As lunch, you will be provided a Swahili seafood barbecue and an exotic island fruit tasting.
