Pickup included
Begin with pickup at 9:00am from your hotel in Marrakech by air-conditioned minivan or 4x4 , then travel along the Atlas Mountains, 1-hour trip. Upon arrival at the Rha Gorge, take a camel ride and absorb the sweeping views over the Atlas Mountains. Continue driving to Tachdirt the highest Village in Morocco (2300 meters)
After you arrive in Tachedirt, our starting point, we’ll travel the way the locals do: by foot or, for those who require it, by mule. This provides lots of time for questions and discussion with your guide, who’ll do everything possible to make sure you leave with a good understanding of Berber villages life. Walking also gives you the chance to notice small details—a wildflower, how Berber homes are constructed, certain rock formations—that would otherwise be lost on someone going by car. After passing over few Berber villages and local foot paths and trails, we’ll make our way to a Berber home for tea or lunch.
Depart Imnan valley. Then we drive to Imlil valley. We see across from our way the beautiful villages of Tamatert, Ait Souka and Armed. Finally, we are in Toubkal National park,Then a short walk or a mule ride to beautiful Waterfalls. Admire different landscapes with snow-capped peaks, lush valleys & traditional mud-built Berber villages, the Atlas Mountains Toubkal National park offer a wonderful respite from the madness, heat and noise of Marrakech.
At the end of the day, you’ll be physically tired but—we hope—mentally refreshed by the cultural encounters of the day...and ready for another hectic day back in Marrakech.
