About this experience

Learn some incredible survival techniques in the Central Canadian Rockies. Sharpen your bushcraft skills, and enjoy an amazing two day experience in the breathtaking Kootnay Plains on the banks of the North Saskatchewan River just outside Nordegg, Alberta. This intro survival and bush-craft training provides an introduction to basic outdoor skills and northern bushcraft. Participants will focus equal amounts on theory, outdoor awareness, being properly prepared, tricks and techniques to keep you alive in emergency situations and a lot of practical bushcraft skills. Participants will gain knowledge, which can be used in a wide variety of outdoor scenarios all the way from camping, hunting, canoeing, or hiking. We provide opportunities to hone and develop new abilities, and we include one night spent sleeping in your very own improvised survival shelter.

In the unlikely event that the minimum participant number is not met for any one particular program date, the we will try to reschedule bookings onto a different course and if no other date works we will provide a refund for the course fee.
