Detailed itinerary

1

You will be picked up from the Port of Szczecin and travel through the lively harbour to the heart of Szczecin Old Town, the Hay Market Square (Rynek Sienny).

Here, you will see the Old Town Hall and colorful, gingerbread-style townhouses. Stroll towards the towering Archcathedral Basilica of St James the Apostle, and see the Ionic Palace, Palace “Under the Bridge”, and the White Eagle Fountain.

2

Next, you will head to the city’s biggest attraction - the Pomeranian Dukes’ Castle, which from the 14th century housed many notable residents such as Queen Catherine Opalinska.

Follow your Private Guide along the Boulevard of the Chrobry Embankment and admire the scenic views of the West Oder River on one side, and important landmarks such as the Maritime Academy, the National Museum and the Szczecin Voivodeship Office on the other.

At the end of the tour, you will be driven back to your cruise.

3

Enrich your experience with an extended walking route and a tour of the inner courtyard of the Pomeranian Dukes' Castle. Learn more about the castle’s fascinating history and the legends of the Duchy of Pomeranian, and see the medieval astronomical clocks and mosaics.

You will also see the old, ornate Royal Gate, the Solidarity Square, and the astonishing, ice-like Karlowicz Philharmonic.

4

Visit the Archcathedral Basilica of St James the Apostle, also known as the Szczecin Cathedral.

This 14th century (rebuilt in the 17th century church) is closely related to the history of Szczecin. From the observation deck of its 110m tower you can enjoy phenomenal panoramic views of the whole city.
