This might be the fastest and most fun airport transfer you'll ever experience! Shanghai's magnetic levitation (Maglev) train opened for service in November 2004 and makes the 19.8-mile (32-km) trip between Pudong International Airport (PVG) and downtown Shanghai in only eight minutes.
You will be met upon arrival at the airport by a local representative and accompanied aboard the Maglev. Once you arrive in downtown Shanghai, you will be driven to your hotel.
Similarly, for your return transfer, your escort will meet you in the foyer of your Shanghai hotel. You will then be transferred to the Maglev train and accompanied back to Pudong Airport to catch your departing flight.
