What makes my tour different is that it is truly personal and flexible. I am not a big company, there is no fixed script and no rushing from place to place. It is just me, sharing the Madeira I know from living here and exploring these trails for years.
We choose the hike together based on your level, interests and mood — peaceful levada, dramatic mountains, coastal scenery or forest magic. I always try to avoid the busiest times and crowded groups, so you can enjoy nature in a calm and authentic way.
Instead of spending half the day picking up strangers in hotels, we go straight to the trail, start early and enjoy the silence of the morning. After the walk, we explore the area: viewpoints, small villages, cafés, and hidden spots that most visitors never see.
It feels more like hiking with a local friend than joining a tour. No stress, no pressure — just real Madeira, at your rhythm.
Book your Hike & Sights day and let’s make memories on the island’s most beautiful paths.

Madeira has many different types of trails, and each one gives a special feeling. On levada walks you follow old water channels, usually flat and peaceful, surrounded by forest, small waterfalls and birds. It feels like a green paradise.
Mountain trails are more dramatic — walking above the clouds, crossing volcanic peaks and sharp ridges with huge views. Sometimes windy and a bit hard, but unforgettable.
Coastal paths show the power of the ocean, with cliffs, strong colours and waves hitting the rocks. You may pass small villages and gardens, seeing simple island life.
Forest trails take you inside our ancient Laurissilva — moss, ferns, old trees, fresh air and silence, like a fairy-tale forest.
Some routes also show history: old stone paths, farming terraces and traditional houses. Every trail has its own mood, and each day the island looks different — that is the magic of hiking in Madeira.
