Leshan Giant Buddha, a must-see of Chengdu, was listed as the World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1996 together with Mount Emei. This private day tour offers you the chance to visit it from Chengdu. As it is outside of Chengdu city, it will be much easier taking this tour. Your private guide and driver will be there for your group only to ensure you have a good time.

Stop 1

The tour starts with the pick-up service at 9:00 am by your local professional tour guide. Then you will enjoy a comfortable transfer by a private air-conditioned vehicle to the renowned Leshan Giant Buddha. It takes about 2 hours on the road.

Upon arrival, enjoy a delicious lunch at well-selected local restaurant. Then walk into the park to visit the Buddha from a very close distance, listen to your guide’s narration to learn the long history and architectural artistry of the Giant Buddha, and be amazed by the this UNESCO listed World Heritage.

If you want to see the panoramic view of the Buddha, you may take a boat at your own cost to have an alternative perspective, your guide will be happy to help. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to Chengdu and dropped off at the hotel.
