You will meet your guide right outside the main entrance to the Metropolitan Museum, and from their you will commence what promises to be both a highly educational and thoroughly enjoyable experience!
Your guide will bring you face to face with some of the finest works of art in the museum. The Roman and Greek collection, for example, date back to the founding of the museum, and although they focus predominantly on exhibits from ancient Greece and the Roman Empire, they feature a wide range of cultures and styles. The Greek and Roman galleries also feature a range of classical wall paintings and reliefs from various periods.
