The National Gallery's collection covers a period of seven hundred years and contains a total of more than 2,300 pieces, dating from the late medieval period right up to the French Impressionists.
Before you meet your guide and enter the gallery, take the time to look around Trafalgar Square and admire the splendid building that houses the National Gallery.
