** On days where the station is not reachable due to road closures, station closures, or weather, we will instead head to the 4th Station or Oshino Hakkai.

Arrive in Takayama Station at 18:15. This city is famous for its extremely well preserved buildings and festival culture. Here are some things we recommend you try during your stay in Takayama:
- Visit the Takayama Yatai Kaikan to see the beautiful and well crafted festival parade floats.
- Enjoy traditional snacks and crafts along a picturesque river at the Miyagawa Morning Market.
- Travel back in time at the Kusakabe Folk Museum to get a glimpse into the daily life of the Edo Period.
- Savor some of Takayama's local specialties, like Hida Beef (Wagyu)
- Try your hand at archery at one of the Hankyu Dojos in the area!
