About this experience

A 45- drive from the town of Falmouth takes you to the Greenwood Great House, sitting on the hillside overlooking the Greenwood community and the Caribbean Sea. A tour guide will meet you at the entrance of the property and escort you to the front door of the house where a portable fire hydrant with leather buckets and hose sits in case of a fire.

As you step into the house, you will be amazed by the huge collection of antique furniture, a rare collection of books, some dating back to the 17th century, preserved in glass-fronted cabinets, an array of antique pianos and musical boxes, many of which still function, period portraits, and delicate China ware, maps of the world dated 17th century, and much more, as you go through the rooms all while hearing the history of the house from past to present.

You will rest for a while on the huge verandah upstairs, to take in the panoramic view from the house, before making you way downstairs to the bar where the tour ends.
