El Nido Eco-Tourism Development Fee (ETDF) requires all tourists to pay PHP200 before going to any tourist destination within El Nido. This one-time fee will be valid for 10 days. Directly pay to the tour coordinator.
As part of the implementation of the Protected Area Management Board (PAMB) Resolution No. 2017-051, effective 1 Dec 2018, guests must pay an additional PHP200 (per person) to enter the Big Lagoon or Small Lagoon directly to the tour coordinator
Tours are regularly checked by the Local Government Unit (LGU) of the municipality of El Nido
and the coast guards before allowing each boat to sail off shore to start the tour. Hence, the
starting time of each tour is beyond operator’s control. This is a new rule implemented and only
after permission from the LGU and the coast guards will the tour start for the customers’ safety
