Stop 1

Exuberant nature on easy and accessible trails for everyone! Vila Velha Park is 90 km from Curitiba.

. Discover the famous Vila Velha Park with its sandstone formations! Nature has been very generous in this region and you will be able to appreciate the result of 300 million years! The walk is peaceful and can be done in full or just the first stage. The part from the sandstones to the “cup” has only 7 steps and is done on easily accessible walkways. If you want to visit the other part of the sandstones, which is wetter and closer to vegetation, it's another 40 minutes and 200 steps.

. Also visit Furnas and Lagoa Dourada, also on quiet walks with some steps. In the very remote past, Furnas were caves that collapsed and today have the appearance of craters with vegetation. Lagoa Dourada is crystal clear – a cave in an advanced process of silting and gets its name from the color of its waters.
