Stop 2

Epidaurus is one of the most important archaeological sites in Greece, renowned for its remarkably preserved ancient theater, celebrated for its perfect acoustics and architectural harmony. Once a major healing center dedicated to Asclepius, the god of medicine, Epidaurus reflects the spiritual and cultural achievements of classical Greece. It’s a place where art, health, and history come together in a stunning natural setting.

3

Passing through the city of Argos, we’ll get to Nafplion. A romantic city steeped in history that served as the first capital of modern Greece. Nafplion is famous for many things, among which are the Venetian fortress called Palamidi and also Bourtzi, a water castle located in the middle of the harbor.

4

(Optional)
Enjoy some free time in the charming city of Nafplion, where you can stroll through its narrow, cobbled streets, admire the elegant neoclassical buildings, and relax in one of the many cafés in the lively main square. Take in the views of the Palamidi Fortress, explore local shops, or simply enjoy the seaside promenade—Nafplion offers the perfect setting to unwind and soak in the beauty and history of one of Greece’s most picturesque towns.

5

The Acropolis of Mycenae is a powerful symbol of ancient Greek civilization and one of the most important archaeological sites in the country. Surrounded by massive Cyclopean walls, this once-mighty citadel was the center of the Mycenaean kingdom and home to legendary kings like Agamemnon. As you walk through the imposing Lion Gate and explore the royal tombs and palace ruins, you’ll step into the world of Homer’s epics and experience the grandeur and mystery of a civilization that laid the foundations for classical Greece.

Our next stop will be Mycenae, with the Cyclopean mansory, the Treasury of Atreus, also known as the Tomb of Agamemnon and the Lion Gate.
