Measuring at 125m in length, the structure ranks among the world’s longest curve suspension bridge and constructing it was not an easy feat as the solutions had to factor the following critical elements; structural balancing from a single point (top of the pylon), optimal weight management and load distribution, pre-fabrication of bridge and on site installation.

The entire bridge, in all its elements had to be lifted to the top of the mountain by helicopter and was later assembled to its current position. Price for SkyBridge is RM6.00 for adult and RM4.00 for children. Currently, ticket can be purchased at SkyBridge Ticketing Counter at Top Station.

Equipped with five 3D version projectors, SkyRex immerses passengers in a simulated 3D environment produced on curved surround-screen. Each ‘tram’ unit of 30 seats sits upon a dynamic motion base and is surrounded by 3D projection which combined with a range of 4D effects, results in an unrivalled attraction to entertain and educate.

Located within the vicinity of Oriental Village, with 21,000 square feet of build up, it features more than one hundred 3D interactive paintings, artistically painted by a group of talented international artists. This is another signature product by Langkawi SkyCab, providing new dimensions and experience for visitors.

Step inside or crawl into the exhibits. Interact with the characters and become the subject of the artwork on display. This almost surreal gallery is a must have on your to-do list.

Stop 8

Tanjung Rhu beach has crystal clear and clean water with powdered sand that runs along its coastline. A corridor of dense trees marks the path to the beach and proves to be an interesting gateway to the shores. Hidden from the world and the claws of commercialisation, Tanjung Rhu beach maintains its serenity for travellers looking for some time in peace.

The beach remains quiet, non-polluted and restful throughout the year with pleasant winds blowing from the sea. It does house a few local stalls that serve Langkawi’s favourite - mee gulung but nothing more that may obstruct its warm ambience. Adding to the exclusivity are luxury hotels that surround this beach in huge numbers.
