Detailed itinerary

1

Taste the flavors of South Florida as we get you off-the-beaten path and into locally owned restaurants. We'll get you started with a traditional Cuban guava and cheese pastry as you enjoy the waterfront views. That's what our food tour is all about...local flavors, local stories, local sites. You'll feel like you're walking around downtown West Palm Beach with a local who's taking you to their favorite restaurants and introducing you to fun chefs and restaurant owners along the way. Speaking of walking, you'll be walking a total of 1.5 miles over 2.5 hours, so expect to walk about 3 blocks between each restaurant. Along the way, we'll share some crazy stories from our past and we'll learn about the vibrant murals around town. FYI - we do sit down at all of the restaurants, and restrooms are available.

2

On the way to Pistache French Bistro, we'll walk thru our beautiful waterfront park, and we'll share a bit of history of our area. Pistache French Bistro is one of the oldest restaurants downtown, and we'll enjoy a traditional croque monsieur as we dine in a beautiful restaurant overlooking the waterfront park.

3

Enjoy Key West pink shrimp and grits paired with a refreshing Palm Beach spritz. Every bite and taste will tell a story, and you'll love their old Florida beach scene bar.

4

Salento Coffee is a favorite local coffee shop, and it's owned by a husband and wife team from Colombia. Jaime shows our guests how to make a particular type of Colombian coffee, and then we all share in a delicious Colombian tradition together.

5

It's time for tropical fruit show and tell, and you'll taste and learn about coconuts, tamarinds and key limes. Enjoy a coconut cutting demonstration that promises to be quite memorable. In fact, the next time you see a coconut, if you don't remember West Palm Beach, we'll be surprised. You'll finish your day with an authentic key lime pie, and just remember...key lime pie should never be green.
