Welcome to Vic-Falls, the Jewel of Southern Africa. A marvellous God made wonder of a waterfall. It spans over 3 Kilometres with depths of up to 100 Metres. This perennial wall of water drops an astonishing 500 Million Cubic Litres of water every second. All from one of Africa's largest rivers, the Zambezi.
When the water hits the bottom of the gorges, it makes a breathtaking bellow. This sends a 200 Meter High spray into the sky which the native Tong people call 'Mosi-Oa-Tunya' meaning 'The Smoke that Thunders'.
Your Tour of the Falls will be right along the edge that is opposite this amazing waterfall. When the spray into sky incessantly descends to cool you down and water the evergreen 'Rain Forest', you will understand why this is one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the world.
