Fortress Lovrijenac is founded at 37 meter high on the rock overlooking the sea. It is the main defensive construction for Western part of the city.

The stone gates is a part of Gothic tower with a sculpture of St. Blaise of Sebaste, the Patron of the city. The Pyla fortress was ruined in 1818, but the gates is preserved in its initial form.

The ancient fountain of Onofrio was a part of plumbing. It provided the city by a water using springs, fountain and an aqueduct. The fountain has a 16-sided design, it is decorated with bizarre bas-reliefs - masks of the heads of people and animals from which water flows.
