Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

You are picked up at 6.00 a.m. from your residence in Kandy and drives straight away to the Lion Rock. You will visit the eight wonder of the world, which contains huge walls, water canals, security guard rooms, natural stoned arches, mirror stone and world famous Sigiri paintings. It is an isolated rock, Kingdom more than 200m in height. You have to spend more than two and half hours.

Then your second destination is village tour to experience ancient village life with their day today activities including catamaran rides, bullock carriage ride, walk towards paddy fields, cookery demonstration on traditional Sri Lankan foods and enjoy a traditional meal.

Final stop is Dambulla cave temple, which is the largest and the best preserved cave temple in Sri Lanka. The caves were converted in to a temple complex by king Walagamba during the 1st century. There are about 153 Buddha status and murals, which covers 2100 square meters. You have to spend around one and half hours to cover entire temple complex.
You are dropped back to your hotel in Kandy by the evening.
