Dapeng Fortress is 55km away from downtown Shenzhen, To resist Japanese pirates in the southern coastal areas of Guangdong, it was first built in 1394. Today three gates of the fortress, General Lai and his clan's mansions, General Liu Qilong's mansions, Tianhou Palace, Houwang Temple and Zhaogong Temple are all still in good condition.
Jiaochangwei Seashore is 20 minute walking from Dapeng Fortress, it is a place with 200 family hostels on the seashore, a well-known weekend paradise for locals.
Dongmen is a place when locals go weekend shopping in downtown Shenzhen, a 3-storied food street might be your choice for dinner today. Hundreds of indoor food stalls offer choices of snacks and drinks from different parts of China.
Tour ends in Dongmen Pedestrain Street at 6pm. Free time to explore the night. You will take taxi or MTR back to your hotel by yourself.
