Detailed itinerary

After pickup from your hotel in Lijiang, you’ll set off to visit the Yuhu Village. Yuhu Village is nestled in the foothills of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and is a remote village inhabited by the Naxi ethnic group. The traditional Naxi houses built with unique rocks remain unchanged as they were almost a century ago.

Take a horseback ride among the cobblestone roads, peaceful ponds, blooming trees, and preserved traditional houses while take in the gorgeous sights of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.

Enjoy a Naxi-style lunch at a local’s home. Later on you will experience the traditional customs of Naxi people by making some delicacies yourself such as the soybean milk using the hand mill. More interesting activities include a traditional Naxi clothing and a calligraphy lesson of Naxi Dongba characters to cap off the day.

Tour concludes with a transfer back to your hotel in Lijiang.
