From Hong Kong, transfer to Shenzhen North Railway Station by private coach or shuttle bus. Then take bullet train to explore traditional Cantonese town of Zhaoqing.

Day 1 Hong Kong to Shenzhen (By coach) to Zhaoqing (By Bullet Train)
Transfer to Shenzhen North Railway Station. Take 4-hour bullet train to Zhaoqing. You need to change a train at Guangzhou South Railway Station.

Qilou Building on Zhengdong Street: First built in late 19th century, like shophouses designed for both residential and commercial uses, The ground floor portion is reserved for commercial use, mostly by small businesses like pawnshops and food vendors. The upper floors were residential use. Some Kungfu movies were taken here in 1980's.
Wonton Soup by Qiao Xin Mian Dian: Cantonese-style shrimp wonton is something you must try. The soup is made from boiling shrimp shells, pork bones and dried flounder to give it a distinct taste. The best Wonton is made by QiaoXinMianDian, located at 125 Zhengdong Road. Guo Zheng Zong made by this shop is also well known by locals.
Day 2 Zhaoqing
Seven Star Crag Scenic Area
The crags are situated in or around Star Lake. The lake is partitioned into five separate sections divided with small strips of land and walkways. First we will take a boat ride to the crags from Paifang Square.
You can visit a number of caves, climb up one of the caves with steep stairs going up the side; at the top is a small pavilion for viewing the lake and neighboring crags. There is a Fairy Maiden Lake nearby. It is a Wetland Reserve for migratory birds. A boat ride to visit dozens of small islets can be arranged at an extra cost of USD10 per person.
Day 3 Zhaoqing to Hong Kong
Feel free to explore Zhaoqing countryside by bike.
Biking on Greenway of Star Lake
The greenway on water front plank of Star Lake has rewarded as one of the most beautiful biking routes in Guangdong Province.
Later today you will take a taxi to train station for train to Shenzhen. When you arrive at Shenzhen bullet train station, you will take shuttle bus to Hong Kong. Bus runs every half hour from 07:30 to 19:00. Please tell your preferred destination upon reservation: Mong Kok, Tsim Sha Tsui, Causeway Bay, North Point, Sheung Wan or Wan Chai. E-ticket will be sent to you in advance.
