Stop 1

This is very beautiful palace with unique mixed architectural styles with 270 years of existence with Chandeliers, marble thrones, portraits, hand painted landscape maps, porcelain, Armory, textiles and vintage cars which was the seat of coronation ceremonies, administration and lavish banquets.

Stop 2

Mecca Mosque is is a congregational mosque situated in the old city of Hyderabad. It is one of the largest mosques in India, which can accommodate more than 10,000 people for Eid Prayers built in 17th Century by both Qutb Shahis and Mughals. It is located just 100 meters away towards South-West of Charminar with important tombs of Nizams of Hyderabad.

Stop 3

Laad Bazaar towards west of Charminar in Old Hyderabad city is a very coulorful market to negotiate and buy glittering and colourful lacquer bangles. This market is a place to buy lacquer bangles; imitation jewellery, clothes etc with more than 400 years old antiquity.

The Charminar that means four minarets is a beautiful historic landmark monument located in the heart of old Hyderabad city constructed in 1591 by Qutb Shahis. It was built as a replica of tomb of Imam Hussain with Madarasa, Mosque and beautiful stucco decorations in it. It has architectural, religious and historical importance. Charminar is the most visited monument in Hyderabad surrounded by very busy and historical markets. We climb up to the first floor of Charminar. We also see Juma Masjid from Charminar which is the first congregational mosque after the foundation of Hyderabad City built in Qutb Shahi Architecture in 1598. We could have Panoramic View of the surrounding monuments from here.

Naal-E-Mubarak Ashurkhana is a Shia religious place with historical importance. It has metal pieces of helmet of Imam Hussain which was used in the battle of Karbala in 680 AD.

Ashookhana is associated with Shia Muslims and a place of mourning during Muharram Festival. It was built in 1594 AD in memory of martyrdom of Imam Hussain in the battle of Karbala. It has very beautiful and colorful Mosaic Tiles from Persia. It was damaged partially with the floods of Musi River in 1908 AD. Ashurkhana in it has sites like the Niyaz Khana, Naqaar Khana, Sarai Khana, Abdar Khana, Langar Khana, Makan-e-Mujawer, Daftar-e-Mujawer and Alawa Chabutra etc. After the conquest of Golkonda by Aurangazeb to display of Sunni Dominance, he used the Ashurkhana as a horse stable for the Mughal cavalry.
