About this experience

Our wine tour is a social, down to earth and laid back trip that offers great wines, gin, cider and more..and we have a laugh doing it!

We'll pick you up in the morning and focus on everyone getting to know each other. We get everyone to add to a Spotify playlist so we have some tunes and spend the first hour just chatting!

Our itinerary has been crafted over the many years to give everyone choice throughout the day. This is done by selecting venues that are very close to other types of venues so you get as much control and choice as possible.

Generally we go to 2 Wineries (one of which also does cider), then lunch at your expense, then onto your choice of a Gin distillery, A brewery or a winery and finally your choice of a chocolate tasting or another winery. Cheese is also available

We don't include lunch in the price, so we go to a restaurant (Quarters or Chandon) where you can order/pay what you want to eat/drink.

We use a 24 seater bus but generally fill 15-22 seats.

Available options

Replace Gin with winery

Don't like Gin?Want more wine?: We'll take you across the road to 'Payten and Jones' for maybe the best wine tasting of the day instead of Four Pillars Gin.

Detailed itinerary

1

The following are a list of wineries and venues we will go to. The tour includes tastings at 4 of these venues , with a 5th being a lunch stop that doesn’t include a tasting. We have structured this itinerary to give everyone a few choices throughout the day.

We will drive for 55 minutes to our first venue. After about 45 minutes its starts getting scenic!

2

Try 5-6 wines and an incredible Pink Lady Apple Cider at this very small, boutique and family run vineyard.

3

Wine tasting of 5 amazing wines. Incredible views. Laid back type of winery with an incredible range of tastes.
From Medium bodied reds, to pinot grigio, from sweet desert wines to sparkling, from unfiltered pinot noirs, to Chardonnay to heavy Shiraz and fortified wines.

4

Here we have lunch. The restaurant is called 'Quarters' and is located on St Huberts Estates winery.
The entire menu is QR coded or you can order with wait staff.
Lunch is not included in the price so this would be at your own expense.
The food is incredible here. I would allow anything from 10-40$ here, depending on how hungry you are. There is something for everyone here. Pizzas, burgers, steaks, ribs, vegan dishes, celiac friendly, creative salads,...really nice food!

The venue itself is really impressive and they also have a cellar door to do wine tastings and whiskey tasting, as well as an Indigenous art museum all done by First Nations people around Victoria.

We often split the group up after lunch for those that want to explore the venue...or those that want to try Chandon.

5

If you would prefer to have lunch here instead of Huberts Estate, we can take you here to their 'lounge bar' where you will have 80 minutes to enjoy lunch/drinks at your expense. We explain this on the day, but we will make the booking for you. All you need to do is tell us on the day that you would prefer coming here.
One thing to note is that the food here is a lot smaller and a bit more expensive than the other lunch spot Huberts Estate.

We find all people want to do here is just have a glass and enjoy the scenery anyway, so 80 minutes Is plenty of time!

6

Here we try 4 of their Gins on a paddle, with tonic or soda to mix with it whilst being told how hey make it in their new impressive distillery. That said, if you don't like gin or want something else, we can get you any type of drink there. You can even cross the road and we can arrange a private wine tasting at Payton and Jones if you really want to keep the day Wine focused. There is also a brewery around the corner we can take you to instead

7

Instead of Four Pillars gin, we offer the chance to go to the local brewery where you can try 4 beers on their beer paddle which is included in the price. Small local craft brewery and locals favourite. It gives the energy of a 'dads garage' kind of brewery, so nothing too fancy/commercial.
Note: This place is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

8

If you want to keep your day wine-focused, we offer the chance to get a wine tasting here INSTEAD OF FOUR PILLARS GIN. Arguably the best wine of the day!

9
Stop 9

Here at this very scenic spot, you will have a private tasting of 10-12 chocolates over 25 minutes. You'll then have time to buy any chocolate you like as well as take advantage of the ice cream section of the factory.

10

If people are not interested in the chocolate tasting, we offer the chance to drive people to this winery which around the corner from the chocolate place. This would be simply a round of drinks but would be at your own expense. Its simply a nice scenic way to end the day if you want to keep drinking. Arguably the best wine of the day and most people tell us we should really make this part of the inclusion of the tour! You can get wine or beer here.

What's not included

Lunch- We will either go to Hubert Estate or Domain Chandon where you can order/pay at your expense
