On the other hand, it is a symbolically important place in the history of the Icelandic nation formation, the place of the national assembly fount by the first settlers in the Viking Age.
Gullfoss is one of the most famous waterfalls in Iceland, consisting of two stages. The height of the first cascade is 11 meters (33 ft), and the second is 21 meters (65 ft). During this stop, we will walk through the small geothermal valley of Haukadalur, famous for its Geysir and Strokkur hot springs. Although Geysir is inactive today, Strokkur, the largest active geyser in the country, erupts every 5-10 minutes up to 20-35 meters (60-100 feet) in height.

Reynisfjara is the most famous black sand beach on the south coast of Iceland. Its beautiful black sand and pebbles, vertical basalt columns, powerful ocean waves, and the nearby Reinisdrangar sea cliffs make Reinisfjara a truly unique place to visit.
Skogafoss, one of Iceland's largest and most elegant waterfalls, is 60 m (195 feet) high and 25 m (75 feet) wide. It generates a lot of sprays, which on sunny days often creates a bright single or even double rainbow, adding to the charm of Skogafoss Falls. We can walk to the waterfall's base and the stairs to the observation deck to see the waterfall from above.
