Your tour guide will pick you up from the lobby of your hotel by holding your name sign, hop on your private air-conditioned vehicle, heading directly to Emei Mountain Scenic Area. (2.5 hours), sit back and enjoy the scenery along the way.

Mount Emei is famous as World Heritage Site of both culture and nature, it is also known as one of the Four Great Buddhist Mountains in China and home to 5000 kinds of plants and over 2300 kinds of wild animals. It is ideal place for hiking, Buddhist culture exploration, photography, winter holiday, summer hot retreat, and suitable for visiting all year around.

Upon arrival, follow your tour guide to take the local sightseeing bus to Leidongping. Then take the convenient cable car to Gold Summit.

Admire at the 48 meters Golden Buddha Statue, stroll around the area with your tour guide, get to know the history about the Buddhism in China, its belief and soul.

Enjoy lunch at the Golden Summit, then descend by cable car, if time permit, you will pay a visit to the Baoguo Temple.

Baoguo Temple is the biggest temple at Mount Emei, it is the culture center for Buddhism events.

Follow your tour guide to view the giant porcelain Buddha and a huge bronze bell which weights 25 tons.

After the tour finished, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Chengdu.
