Your English speaking guide and private car will pick you up in your hotel's lobby. Heading directly to Yunnan Stone Forest Geological Park which takes about 1.5 hours. On the way, your tour guide will explain the related stories, feel free to ask questions if you have. Yunnan Stone Forest Geological Park Kunming Stone Forest is a spectacular set of limestone groups and the representative of south China’s karst landscape. Since the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), It is considered as the 'First Wonder of the World'. Approximately 270 million years ago - during the carboniferous period of the Paleozoic era - the region was a vast expanse of sea. Over time, the movements of the lithosphere gradually caused a retreat of the waters and the rise of the limestone landscape. Due to constant erosion by the elements, the area finally developed into the present-day appearance. The whole park is a huge natural treasure gallery, upon arrival, follow your tour guide to use your imagination to discover the park, your tour guide will tell many legendary stories along the way, and show you the best location for photos. You will spend 2 hours to visit the Big Stone Forest Area and the Small Stone Forest Area.

Enjoy lunch in the local restaurant, then heading directly to Dian Lake. Dian Lake is the largest freshwater lake in Yunnan Province and the sixth largest one in China. Its natural banks are formed by mountains on all four sides. Follow your tour guide to stroll around the park, enjoy beautiful sceneries with birds flying around.

Next, use the convenient cable car to explore the West Hill. West Hills boasts an excellent environment with flourishing flowers and dense forest, providing excellent environment to enjoy the tranquility and marvelous scenery. It is known as 'having the most pleasant environment in the world'.

Your first stop is the Dragon Gate where you can enjoy amazing paranomic view of Dian Lake and Kunming City.

Then, move on to Sanqing Pavilion. The pavilion was built on the cliff, looks like a 'castle in the air'. Stroll around the halls and courtyards in the temple, get to know the history about the Taoism in China and enjoy amazing panoramic view of Dianchi Lake.

Depending on your time and interests, you can choose to visit Taihua Temple. Originally built in the Yuan Dynasty (1206 - 1368), the temple is the oldest one in Western Hills. The temple is famous for the beautiful rare flowers on the grounds.

Spend some leisure time to explore the Dragon Gate area. Then you will take the ski lift descend. Take the battery bus offered by the attraction. You can choose to visit Huating Temple. In the temple you can see three golden Buddha figures with kindly expressions, 500 life-like arhats which are vivid just like real people, and golden figures of Laughing Buddha. Besides, there are abundant colored clay figures depicting vividly various images of mythical animals.

After the tour finished, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Kunming.
