Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

Begin with a pickup from your hotel in Hoi An or Da Nang and enjoy a scenic drive to Marble Mountain, located in Da Nang. With your local guide, explore the fascinating Âm Phủ Cave, once a strategic hiding spot for Vietnamese soldiers during the wars and a secret hospital for treating the wounded. You can either walk 150 steps or take the elevator to reach the peak of Marble Mountain. Your guide will ensure you experience the mountain's best-kept secrets, saving you effort while revealing hidden gems often overlooked by others. Marvel at the rustic beauty of centuries-old pagodas, Buddhist statues, and shrines, where local believers and monks frequently pray. You'll also gain insight into local customs and Buddhism during your visit.

2

Continue your exploration of Marble Mountain, where you'll enjoy breathtaking river views and feel the refreshing ocean breeze at various scenic spots. Visit the impressive Heaven Cave, where you’ll marvel at the stunning natural limestone formations. Capture memorable photos alongside rustic statues of Lady Buddha and Happy Buddha. Before concluding your tour, stop by the 500-year-old Carving Village at the base of Marble Mountain, where you can witness local artisans crafting exquisite marble sculptures—a tradition passed down through generations.

3
Stop 3

Next, we'll drive along the picturesque Da Nang coast to Monkey Mountain, also known as Son Tra Peninsula. Along the way, enjoy stunning views of Da Nang city, the vast Pacific Ocean, the Cham Islands, and miles of pristine beaches dotted with hundreds of fishing boats. As we explore the mountain, you’ll encounter the playful Macaque monkeys that are common in the area. And if you’re lucky, you might even spot the rare and endangered red-shanked douc langur, known for its vibrant colors and graceful presence.

4
Stop 4

Halfway up Monkey Mountain, we'll stop to visit the towering Lady Buddha Statue, an impressive 68 meters (233 feet) tall. Smiling over the nearby fishing village, she is believed to bless and protect the local fishermen as they venture into the deep sea. Surrounding the statue are beautifully landscaped flower and bonsai gardens, offering peaceful spots to relax. From here, you’ll also have access to stunning viewpoints, perfect for capturing breathtaking photos of Da Nang city and its sweeping coastline.

5

After a fulfilling morning or afternoon exploring Marble Mountain, Monkey Mountain, and the Lady Buddha statue, we’ll conclude the experience with a delicious Vietnamese lunch or dinner. Enjoy authentic local cuisine at a charming restaurant, where our friendly team will share a meal with you, making it the perfect way to relax and savor the flavors of Vietnam after a day of discovery.
