Netaji was a rare freedom fighter who believed that the British had to be fought with violence and aligned with Germany and Japan during the World War II in order to win Independence for India. Netaji Bhavan was built in 1909 by his father Janakinath Bose and this house was the centre of political activities for Indian freedom fighters. Two of the best things to see here is the staircase and the car used by him for his secret departure from Kolkata.
