1

Our journey begins at our delightful shop on Calle Duarte, nestled in a charming pink house adorned with vibrant flowers, a true gem and one of Puerto Plata’s most iconic landmarks. We'll start with a warm welcome and a brief introduction, sharing the rich and fascinating history of the island. Then, the real adventure begins as we set off on an unforgettable experience you won’t want to miss!

2

Next, we’ll stroll to the heart of our experience: La Cueva del Pirata, a hidden gem and our favorite rum store in all of Puerto Plata. This extraordinary spot is more than just a shop; it’s a journey through time. Here, you'll uncover the captivating history of rum and the legendary pirates who once roamed the shores of Puerto Plata.

But the real fun begins when you get to taste! You’ll have the chance to choose four shots from an exclusive selection of over 50 unique, locally crafted rums, each with its own story and flavor, all while enjoying a few tasty snacks on the side.

At the same location, we’ll also dive into the world of premium Dominican cigars. You’ll learn what makes them so special, and even get to pick one exclusive cigar to enjoy from a wide variety of top-quality options.

And to top it all off, we’ll raise a glass together with a classic rum & Coke, on the house. All of this is included in the experience, no hidden fees, just great memories waiting to be made!

3

To wrap up our adventure, we’ll take you on a fun and engaging walking tour through the surrounding area, revealing some of Puerto Plata’s best-kept secrets and hidden gems. Along the way, you'll hear captivating local stories, including the legendary tale of the infamous pirate Cofresí.

Before we say goodbye, there’s one last surprise: a special gift from your host. Each guest will receive a bottle of Mamajuana, the Dominican Republic’s beloved local drink, made with rum, red wine, honey, and a mix of native herbs. It’s the perfect souvenir to take a little taste of the island home with you!
