About this experience

Only for adults.

Join us for a one-of-a-kind Caribbean adventure in Puerto Plata, centered around one of its most iconic cocktails, the legendary piña colada!

Our journey begins at the vibrant HANDMADE THE BRAND shop, located at Calle Duarte, 37. From there, you’ll dive into an unforgettable hands-on experience: cutting, blending, toasting, and laughing as you craft your very own all-natural piña colada, served right inside a fresh pineapple.

Along the way, we’ll dance, chat, and sip on exclusive, homemade tropical rums. What starts as a cocktail workshop quickly turns into a mini tropical party, with great music and delicious drinks, all included in the price.

Bring your best smile, your good vibes, and maybe a fun story or two to share. It’s local, it’s authentic, and it’s a memory you’ll take home with flavor!

Detailed itinerary

1

The fun begins the moment you walk through the door! From the very first beat of tropical music and the first sip of a welcome coconut rum shot, you'll feel the island vibes kick in. With big smiles and a warm Caribbean welcome, we’ll hand you your colorful tropical apron and introduce you to the delicious journey ahead.

2

We’ll start our adventure with a fun and fascinating story about the origins of the legendary piña colada — where it was invented, how its tropical ingredients are grown, harvested, and transformed into the iconic cocktail we all love. You’ll discover the unique connection between our island and this world-famous drink.

3

Then it’s time to get hands-on! Choose your own fresh pineapple, and learn how to hollow it out using special tools. This will become your one-of-a-kind, eco-friendly drinking cup!

Next, we’ll mix up our signature piña colada recipe using natural, locally sourced ingredients. Blend, pour, and serve your cocktail right into your pineapple, then decorate it with tropical touches, and make it your own masterpiece.

4

But the fun doesn’t stop there! Your creation deserves the spotlight. Strike a pose with your homemade piña colada in front of our vibrant, colorful storefront — the perfect photo for your social media and a tropical memory you'll never forget.
