Grand Monuments of Ephesus: Begin your journey in the ancient city of Ephesus, one of the most important cities of the Ionian League and a major trade center of the ancient world. Located near modern-day Izmir, this former port city connected Asia Minor to the Mediterranean.

As you walk its marble streets, you will discover grand public spaces such as the State Agora, Odeon, and Curetes Street. Marvel at the Celsus Library, the Trajan Fountain, the Temple of Hadrian, and the Baths of Scholastica. The Grand Theater, originally built in the third century BC and later expanded by the Romans to seat twenty four thousand people, remains one of the most awe-inspiring monuments in Ephesus.
