Ancient City of Ephesus: Our first stop is Ephesus, known for the Temple of Artemis and as the greatest city in Asia Minor during the Roman Empire. Start at the upper Magnesia Gate and walk down through the city to the ancient harbor.

See the Forum, Odeon, Library of Celsus, Thermal Baths, and Great Theater, famous for its acoustics and historic events.

Walk the Arcadian Way, once traveled by Mark Antony and Cleopatra, and hear stories of Alexander the Great, the Virgin Mary, and other famous visitors.

Meryemana (The Virgin Mary's House): Drive to the House of the Virgin Mary, a Christian pilgrimage site believed to be where Mary spent her final days and died. Pope Paul VI visited in 1967 and unofficially confirmed its authenticity. Popes John Paul II and Benedict XVI have also visited the shrine.
