Sheikh Zyed Grand Mosque. The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is a prominent religious landmark located in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Construction of the mosque began in 1996 and was completed in 2007. It was designed by Syrian architect Yousef Abdelky and features a fusion of Islamic architectural styles from different regions, including Persian, Mughal, and Moorish. The mosque's design aims to showcase the cultural diversity of the Islamic world and promote dialogue and understanding between different cultures and religions.

The mosque's exterior is made of white marble and features intricate floral designs and geometric patterns. It has 82 domes, more than 1,000 columns, and is adorned with various precious materials, such as gold, semi-precious stones, and crystals. The main prayer hall can accommodate up to 40,000 worshippers, and there are additional spaces for prayer throughout the mosque.
