Our Munich Food Tour is a walking tour in small groups around the old town. The tourist is guided by a Local Expert able to explain every detail of the selected restaurants, their preparations, and the relevant history/curiosities.
Our tours are a mix of high-quality gastronomy as a way of showing Bavarian culture and lifestyle and a walking experience together with a local friend. Have a full meal in at least 4 stops: you will get the chance to try some of the most iconic Bavarian dishes, such as white sausages, Leberkäs-semmel, Krapfen, meat-based main dishes, and of course, German beer!
Leaving from our Meeting point, we'll pass by Frauenplatz and Marienplatz to head towards the Viktualienmarkt where you'll check out all local delicacies. Here we'll taste the local Bavarian Breakfast (only at lunch), learn about it and enjoy a glass of apple juice next to it! Alternatively, in the evening, you will have a taste of Bavarian street food with Leberkäs-semmel.
Here we'll enter one of the most iconic venues in Bavaria. You'll relish on a local main dish and have some more beer if wanted!
Heading back towards the market we'll enter in a historical spot to taste a sweet only known by locals: the Schmalznudel!
But don't worry if you prefer other desserts are offered
At lunch, we'll end the tour on a sweet note with a glass of Honigwein, honey-flavoured wine. Alternatively, in the evening you will end with a nice digestive, a local schnapps will help you digest the food and we'll say goodbye to each other screaming "Prost"
Please, meet us in front of the entrance to the German Hunting and Fishing Museum, by the statue of the Wild Boar
