As the whole south west part of France, it is a land of duck (duck confit, foie gras), cheese, Gaillac wine, and rich, terroir food like the cassoulet or « aligot and saucisse » (mash potatoes with local cheese and sausage). But it is also a city where skilled and dedicated artisans live, such as artisan boulanger.

With our Albi Food Tour, you will explore its historical center while discovering food specialties and meet passionate and warm people.

Petit-déjeuner - Start the day by enjoying a typical french breakfast like « café croissant » to take-away from a local and traditional bakery, while exploring an ancient area of the city

Wine and Cheese - Let’s continue our foodventure inside the local market, a unique 19°c architecture. We’ll enjoy a wine tasting to go along with some french cheese, oui oui !

Le Plat - Now this is the time to sit down and enjoy a typical southwestern french dish in the historical area of Albi! You’ll taste the delicious Aligot and saucisse , a typical mash potatoe dish from the north of our region Occitanie. made with fresh cow cheese called Cantal. It is served to go along with a local pork sausage

Stop 5

Sweet tooth - to finish with a bit of sweetness, like we usually do in France, let’s move toward our last stop for a nice little sweet treat from a local artisan !
