Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

Arrive in Luxor and meet your personal Egyptologist guide. Your first stop is the East Bank to explore the magnificent Karnak Temple Complex. Wander through the Avenue of Sphinxes, stand in awe within the Great Hypostyle Hall, and see the sacred lake. Your guide will decipher the hieroglyphs and explain the incredible history of this sprawling site.

2
Stop 2

Enter the legendary Valley of the Kings. This sacred burial ground of the New Kingdom pharaohs holds some of history's greatest treasures. You will have the opportunity to enter three of the open tombs, where you'll be mesmerized by the vibrant, 3,000-year-old art that decorates the walls.

3
Stop 3

Visit the stunning Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari. This architectural marvel, built into a cliff face, tells the story of one of ancient Egypt's most powerful female rulers.

4
Stop 4

On your way back towards the East Bank, make a final stop for photos at the Colossi of Memnon. These two gigantic stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III have stood sentinel for millennia, silently watching over the land.
