* Ouarzazate: is a city located south of Marrakech that is known as the Porte du Désert. Ouarzazate is a compulsory stop on the road that connects Marrakech to the Sahara Desert. The name Ouarzazate comes from the Arabic word which means "without noise".
* Hollywood of Africa: Ouarzazate is also known as “Hollywood of Africa”. Several film studios are located in the city, among them one of the most important in the world: the Atlas Studios. Visiting the Atlas studios is absolutely recommended, you will travel through the history of cinema. Films such as The Diamond of the Nile, Asterix and Cleopatra or The Ten Commandments were shot in these studios.
*Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah: It's a Kasbah (fortified city) located 30 km from Ouarzazate. Like the Atlas studios, the kasbah has been filmed dozens of times and appears in great classics such as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, The Mummy and The Diamond of the Nile.
*Kasbah of Taourirt: It's another fortified city around Ouarzazate. The construction was made of adobe, has two crenellated towers and is considered to be one of the best preserved kasbahs in Morocco.
