The Panathenaic or Kallimarmaro Stadium is the stadium which hosted the First Modern Olympic Games in 1896.

The temple of Olympian Zeus used to be the largest temple in Greece. Unfortunately only 16 columns are surviving almost 2.000 years after its construction by the Roman Emperor Hadrian.

You can watch the Change of the Presidential Guards and the Tomb of the Uknown Soldier in front of the Parliament Hous or Old Royal Palace in Syntagma Square.

In the archeological site you can witness ruins of the long and uninterrupted history of Athens, from the Late Neolithic period (3000 BCE) to the late 19th century, when many restorations were carried out by the Archeologists.
