Meet your friendly, English-speaking guide in the lobby of your hotel, and begin your adventure to the renowned Chengdu Panda Breeding Center. It is a non-profit research and conservation facility dedicated to giant pandas and other rare species.
Spend the morning surrounded by some of China’s most beloved animals! Enjoy approximately three hours exploring the center, with a guided tour through various sections that showcase pandas at different life stages. Start at the baby panda garden to playful teenage pandas, and then to the adult panda area.
Then we will take you to visit the Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Follow your guide on a walking tour through the lush park. First, enjoy a panoramic view from the top platform, where you can see the Buddha’s head and intricate hair buns. Then, descend the steep Lingyun Plank Road along the cliff to reach the statue’s feet.
