Our adventure begins just outside Backstube Opera near Oslo Central Station. From here, we’ll hop on the Frognerseteren metro line and enjoy a scenic ride that takes us through a breathtaking landscape. As we leave the city behind, the panoramic views will unfold before you, setting the stage for a day of exploration.
As you reach the Frognerseteren station, you will be greeted by breathtaking panoramic views. We will take a leisurely hike through the glorious green forest and along mysterious small lakes that are said to be inhabited by the mystical creature Huldra. After we wander to DNT Fuglemyrhytta - a small cabin that offers a cozy spot to relax and take in the views. From there our adventure will continue through the forest to the most spectacular spot of our journey – the summit of Vettakollen mountain offering overwhelming views of the city and the Oslofjord. Take in the crisp fresh air and capture this moment with photographs.
Vettakollen peak provides the best view to the city. From here, you can feast your eyes on large parts of Oslo, the Oslo fjord, and its serene coastline, dotted with numerous small islands.
After enjoying the view, we will stroll down to the metro station and finish our trip at Jernbanetorget.
