We offer a light lunch in the desert, unique and quiet.
The Skeleton coast offers harsh desert conditions, unique plant life , like the tiny Lichens and plants sustained by fog alone, shipwrecks, jackals and thousands of seals can be viewed at a location Diego erected the first Cross, on his voyage in 1493 In his search for a route around Africa. A must see to view thousands of Cape Fur Seals.
Should you wish to see more Shipwrecks you must book the full day Shipwreck Tour as it goes another 200km further north.

Shipwreck Tour: we go searching for 2 more shipwrecks in the Skeleton coast park, some old Diamond mine and an inland Oil Rig. <br/>Duration: 8 hours: This tour goes up the Skeleton coast for about 310km and all the way back, its a full day tour<br/>Light Lunch and beverages incl: We serve a light finger eat and beverages. Please advise dietary requirements on booking<br/>Skeleton coast Northwards: We see Lichen Plains, Zeila Shipwreck, Seal colony, then enter the Skelton coast park, searching for the shipwrecks and Mines<br/>Land Rover 8 seater or similar: We also use Minivans and Land Cruisers<br/>Pickup included

Stop 1 Pass by

We will pass various of houses located along the shore between Swakopmund and Henties Bay. These houses are known as vacation houses

We stop on the way to Cape cross between Swakopmund and Henties Bay where the Zeila Shipwreck is located in the sea.

Here you will see the gallows monument that was erected in 1978 as an appeal to keep the beach clean

Stop 4

we pass and learn about The Orania Desalinization Plant, who built it and why, then past Wlotska's Backen a local Holiday resort and how it came into being.
We stop and walk through the tiny lichens in a Lichen Field and learn about how they survive in these arid conditions. We will be stopping at the Zeila ship wreck and onto Henties bay where we collect a light lunch platter. The route takes us past the Gallows monument that has now been changed, and onto Cape Cross seal colony. Where Diego erected a Marble Cross. There is a walk way to go where you get real close to thousands of seals. On spending time Photographing these likeable animals we sadly have to head home.

After hour stop at the seal colony we will then head back but first we will stop and refuel the car so we can have a smooth and save travel back to your accommodation
