Terry's Tobago Fun Island Tour is the most popular tour among island visitors, and for good reason. While we do offer shorter island tours (such as the Highlights of Tobago Half-Day Tour), this all-day tour is the best way to make the most of your trip and really see what Tobago is about, including just enough history, culture and beach to satisfy everyone’s interests. Be sure to bring your swimsuits and some dry clothes so you can snorkel in some of the island’s breathtaking hidden bays. An authentic Caribbean lunch is included with the tour, an experience in itself. Your guide will pick you up around 8:30 a.m. and drop you off around 6:00 p.m.
NOTE: The tour vehicle has air conditioning; however, the local government has recommended it not be used due to COVID-19. Please feel free to speak with your tour guide further regarding this local guidance.

The first stop is on the North Atlantic Ocean side of Tobago. This is the best preserved historical site with a chance to see the old canons from the battles in 1770’s. It is a destination steeped in rich history and offers one of the most breathtaking views of Port of Spain and the sea beyond.
Explore the cocoa trees, colonial coco house and experience cocoa beans tasting–if we can get to them before the parrots do!
The tour also includes a visit to Speyside Lookout to see “Goat Island” which was the former home of Ian Fleming the author and creator of James Bond. We will also be able to see “Little Tobago” which is better known as “Paradise Island,” now a bird and wildlife sanctuary.
We pass through some small villages and along the way we will see the famous “Jemma’s Tree House” restaurant. This part of the tour will also include a stop at the ruins of the largest water wheel built by the Scottish in Tobago.
Charlotteville is the highlight of this tour. We head to the north of the island to Charlotteville, the gem of Tobago where the Caribbean Sea flows along the coastline. You have likely seen the beautiful photographs taken of this area.
Tobago’s best kept secret is “Pirates Bay” which we certainly hope will be the most memorable part of your day. You will enjoy a short private boat trip to a secluded wild beach. Lunch is also included and you will get to taste some of our local Caribbean delicacies. Snorkeling equipment is also provided so you can enjoy the beautiful underwater landscape and nature at its best.
After a few hours enjoying this bay, you will bep icked up by boat and taken to “Pink Sand Beach” (better know as “Lovers Bay”), a private beach only accessible by boat. What a great way to connect with nature, relax and unwind, and simply spend a few hours enjoying this peaceful paradise.
We will then continue our tour down to the Caribbean side of the island where breathtaking views combine with the setting of the sun to see the island in its top stunning beauty. Finally, we drive back down the west coast of the island to Crown Point where we end our day at 6:00 p.m. You will then be dropped off at your hotel.
We will reach out to you before the tour to confirm pickup details. Pick-up will be at 8:30 a.m. unless otherwise communicated.
