Detailed itinerary

1

Our expert driver will pick you up from your location, whether it's a hotel, B&B, or private apartment, and guide you on a scenic drive through the sweet hills of Tuscany. Our first stop will be in San Gimignano for a self-guided tour (Free time).

San Gimignano, a small walled medieval hill town near Siena, is famously known as the Town of "Fine Towers." Acting as an open-air museum, our expert driver will provide insights on the best things to see and taste in this charming town. San Gimignano is renowned for its saffron, the Golden Ham, and its white wine, Vernaccia di San Gimignano, crafted from the ancient Vernaccia grape variety grown on the sandstone hillsides. Don't miss the opportunity to indulge in the best ice cream in the world at Gelateria Dondoli in the main square.

2

Following San Gimignano, our journey continues along one of the most scenic wine roads in Tuscany. We'll traverse the gentle hills of Siena, surrounded by olive groves, cypress trees, and vineyards. Should you desire, there will be an opportunity to savor renowned wines and other typical products like olive oil, Sienese sweets, cheeses, balsamic vinegar, and truffles at a Tuscan super farm.

Feel free to inquire with our driver for information on various farms where you can enjoy lunch and wine tasting. Please note that lunch or tasting expenses will be settled directly at the chosen winery, providing flexibility and options for your preferences.

3

Our second stop brings us to Monteriggioni Castle. Founded by the Sienese between 1213 and 1219 as a strategic outpost against the Florentines, Monteriggioni was renowned in ancient times as an impregnable fortress. Inside the castle, you can explore the museum of medieval weapons, delving into the historical significance of this well-preserved site.
After the visit to Monteriggioni Castle, our journey concludes as we transfer you to your hotel, B&B, or private apartment in Siena.
