Detailed itinerary

1

Your driver will be waiting for you at 8:00 AM under your cruise ship or at your hotel, ready to begin an unforgettable and comfortable journey through Tuscany.
Your day kicks off with a visit to the iconic city of Pisa, where you’ll have ample time to marvel at and photograph the world-famous Leaning Tower. Located in the stunning Piazza dei Miracoli, you’ll also admire other architectural masterpieces like the Baptistery and the majestic Cathedral. The Tower began to tilt during its construction in the 12th century, due to soft ground unable to support its weight. Its lean continued to worsen until the 14th century, when construction was completed. Between 1993 and 2001, careful stabilization efforts reduced its tilt to a safer 3.97 degrees, preserving this global treasure for generations to come.
As we journey to Pisa, you’ll also pass by the Apuan Alps, famous for their breathtaking marble quarries, where the finest Carrara marble—used by great artists like Michelangelo.
