Come with us to learn the techniques and secrets of this ancient art. Truffle hunting, let you drive through the beautiful Tuscan countryside full of vineyards and olive trees to the meeting point with the truffle hunter.
• Before the hunt, a brief explanation of the hunting rules and how truffle dogs are trained will be provided.
• Once in the woods the truffle hunt will begin, where you will personally participate in the search together with the dog and the hunter.
• For lunch we will move to a charming cellar where we will have lunch, tasting a first course based on truffles and Tuscan products. During lunch you will taste 5 Tuscan wines with a brief explanation of the basic characteristics: including the famous Chianti, Vernaccia and Super Tuscan.

Private Truffle Hunting Experience
Your licensed driver-guide and trekking guide will pick you up from your hotel or apartment in Florence and take you through the scenic Tuscan countryside—past vineyards, olive groves, and rolling hills—to meet your professional truffle hunter.
Before entering the woods, you’ll receive a brief introduction to the basic rules of truffle hunting and learn how truffle dogs are trained and how they work in the field.
Then the hunt begins. Walk through the forest and actively take part in the search alongside the hunter and the dog, discovering techniques and insights from this ancient Tuscan tradition.
Lunch & Wine Tasting in a Charming Cellar
After the hunt, we’ll head to a welcoming Tuscan cellar or winery for a relaxed lunch. You’ll enjoy a first course featuring fresh truffle pasta, paired with a selection of local Tuscan products.
During lunch, take part in a guided tasting of three Tuscan wines, with a simple introduction to their main characteristics and styles. Wines may include Chianti, Vernaccia, and a Super Tuscan, depending on season and availability.
At the end of the experience, your driver will take you back to Florence.
